The Drum Dojo
Ed has been teaching for over 20 years. Graduated with honors in Jazz performance from Grant Mac Ewan College. As a student, Ed has studied with some very talented drummers, Paul Delong, Rik Gratton, Brian Thurgood.
Ed has many years of experience in playing, teaching and studying all styles ranging from rock to pop, from blues to latin.
His approach to playing the drums is technique, independence and groove. Using proper technique will prevent you from future injuries, independence will open up your playing and allow you to play free and learning groove will get you paid.
Starting from the ground up is very important. Without a good foundation or a good understanding of the fundamentals of music, you will have nothing to build on. Every step of the way is important.
A Dojo is a place of study, Come study the art of drumming. Every level welcome. Beginner, Intermediate and professionals.
